I have charted the weekly S&P % Return vs Amount of Money invested in the market for that week. Is there a correlation here? Does it matter? Probably not, but its fun to look at the data.
Top Purchased Stocks this week:
- WMT - 5 Buys
- ADM/VTR - 2 Buys
WMT was the winner this week but that has been covered recently. ADM and VTR are new names to the top buys of the week. They are certainly not new names in the community, but they are not often the most bought. Here are charts for ADM and VTR.
Here is the summary of stocks, amount invested, and which blogger posted the buy with a link to the post:

That's a pretty broad range of purchases there. I am a bit shocked that I don't see a single KMI or IBM purchase in the list.
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought, Captain. KMI especially has been hot the last few weeks it seems. I could have missed it I suppose. Anyway, thanks for the comment and congrats on your sell and big purchase!
DeleteNice summary Adam - it's always interesting to see what the community is buying and selling.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chimp! Glad to share my findings with the community!
DeleteAlways love to see what others are buying. November has been a health REIT buy month for me. I added to my HCP, HCN and VTR. Also, with ADM yielding over 3% I nibbled a bit on that stock too.
ReplyDeleteADM does look good lately. I've been seeing it pop up more recently. Thanks for commenting!
