You've got a great start there IWTRS. A lot of good blue chip companies that have consistently increased their dividends for years.
We have a lot of the same companies and I'll tell you from experience that they are great ones to own. The consistent earnings and dividends are a big plus when trying to reach financial independence.
I appreciate your comment ADD. This is a big step for me as i move into the dividend world. The more i read about this strategy, the more it just makes sense to me. Im not a big risk taker and have had my share of losses in the market. Thanks for stopping by!
Nice start Adam. An income stream over $1,000 is definitely something to be proud of. Keep investing and adding to your portfolios and you'll be able to retire and live off that passive income stream one day!
I especially like the holdings in your Sharebuilder Roth account. We own all but KO!
Keep it up...Best wishes and success in your personal journey! AFFJ
I like what i currently have too except id like to feel a bit more diversified. Thats my main goal for the rest of the year. I could probably afford to spread out some in my Traditional IRA as well.
Thanks for sharing your portfolio holdings with us. I see you are quite heavy on the REITs which no doubt is because of the yield. Take a look at dividend growth stocks as well that might not have the highest yield but offer safe growing dividends. Look forward to seeing your portfolio develop over time.
Thanks for stopping in and providing feedback. It is ALWAYS welcome! I agree with your assessment fully. My strategy was, for good or bad, to rebalance my REITs into other opportunities as I find them and reinvest dividends. Good advice though and I will take it to heart for sure!
They are all blue chip. I read your article about dividend stock snowballing effect, I think you get all the right idea from the get go. Goodluck on your journey.
Thanks for the visit. I checked out your site and like what I see. I'll add you to my blogroll next time I update and for now I'll add your buys to my weekly buy summary post.
Hi Blake! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Sorry it took so long to respond. Not sure why I didnt see this. Anyway, its great to share similar names with others!
great looking portfolio of solid dividend payers! Nice to be co-shareholders with you on HCP, EMR, TROW and UTX. Plus you have some that are on my buy list. Great job!
