My weekly summary of buys from around the blogging community.
I currently follow over 82 blogs to get this data!!!
If you have made purchases this week and do not see them on this list, please let me know and I will add you to my list of sites I monitor for buy posts.
Summary:
Today's post marks my 60th weekly summary post! I think I missed a couple weeks here and there but for the most part it has been every week for the past 14 months straight! I am not getting sick of doing it either! :)
This week, FLO took over the top trending stock in a big way as it pushees past TGT and WFC. I included the FAST graph below for FLO. It seems many think the stock has been unfairly punished recently and it continues to be a top pick in the community. Honorable mentions go to GILD and KO as these names popped on the chart for hte first time in a few weeks.

82 blogs! That's crazy.
ReplyDeleteFLO seems to be very popular in the DGI crowd. I like FLO but its book value is a bit low at just over 5 bucks. It's near the 52 week lows right now so I could get on board with that.
Hi DC! It is popular indeed. Although there have been a lot of buys recently, I havent seen too many go all in on it. I think thats due to the lawsuit and the downward trend in price. We will see what happens over the coming weeks.
DeleteAlso, I love this information. Thanks for it.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! Nice purchase on WDC by the way. Adding that one to my radar for future consideration.
DeleteNice charts, i think we will start seeing disney soon on this list.
ReplyDeleteI agree Desi... if it continues to pull back in price like it has, it will attract a lot of buyers. Myself included :)
DeleteI still can't believe how popular FLO continues to be. I wonder how long that stock will trend among our fellow bloggers. As always, I appreciate you including DivHut!
ReplyDeleteYou bet Keith! I was suprised a bit this week as well that it was still trending higher. I absolutely love looking at this data and seeing the buys each week though. Pretty interesting stuff! Thanks for the comment.
DeleteAs always, thanks for sharing Adam. We haven't been very active in the buying category during the last few months so glad to see we contributed to this list with our recent FLO and GILD buys. Hopefully, we can continue our momentum. :)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work my friend. AFFJ
Hi AFFJ! I saw you were jumping right back in with some nice purchases. I havent looked at GILD in a while, it was trending pretty high a few weeks ago. I am still cautious right now in my buying, but you cant time the market, so have to keep buying small chunks :)
DeleteThanks for the kind words. Take Care.
Wow this is some great analysis. It's kind of like what I was trying to do, but in a much more thorough way. :) Found out about this from Desi. Cheers
ReplyDeleteHi Greg! Thanks for stopping by. Glad to hear about new readers to my summary posts. I hope everyone finds it helpful!
Delete(thanks to Desi as well for the mention!)
