This weeks totals:
- 51 Total Purchases This week
- 33 Different Stocks bought
- 19 Different Bloggers Posted Buys
Bloggers increased forward yearly dividends by $2,288 ! Outstanding!
BBL was the hot stock this week with 4 bloggers posting buys. The current 7.5% yield gets a lot of attention. WMT came close behind with 3 bloggers posting buys. WMT hasn't been this low since 2012!
As the market continues its decline, it will be interesting to see how bloggers react. The DGI community appears to be bullish in times like these because the value of these companies are still attractive and lower price means increased yields.
Here is the summary of stocks, amount invested, and which blogger posted the buy.

Which of these stocks are you looking to buy next week? Any surprises in this list?
I cross referenced my data with A Frugal Family's Journey's page about Collection of Recent Buys. They provide a link to the individual posts as well as the amount invested. I stuck with shares purchased this week but I may start to include the amount invested in future posts.

Adam, thanks for sharing the buy list.
ReplyDeleteI have an idea. Now that you capture the totals, you can compare the weekly investment against the market in general.
Over time, this will give a pretty good insight on the behavior of our DGI community.
Eg if the market tanks, do we invest more, less or about the same.
You probably need to track it over a period of 12-18 months at the minimum, but this is good data.
D4s
Hi D4s, That would be pretty cool to see the trend over time. I will see what I can do about collecting that data over time. Thanks for the suggestion!
DeleteThanks for sharing your weekly list...it looks like a missed a few last week. There are a few bloggers you've listed that I don't follow so that is the first thing I must change moving forward. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks for the mention. Appreciate the friendship and support. I have a note to self to do the same in my upcoming monthly reports.
Regards, AFFJ
Thanks AFFJ! The DGI blogging community seems to be growing quickly! This is good news. I think I probably left out a few buys as well. Continually improving though! Thanks for commenting! I look forward to the monthly summary. This month was an interesting one (and still is)!
